My artistic journey is driven by a deep curiosity about the world and our place within it. During my Liberal Arts minor at ArtEZ in Zwolle, I began to use materiality as a form of research—a way to explore existential questions that words alone cannot reach. Whether working with the fragility of clay or the structural honesty of cardboard, I perceive the making process as a dialogue that brings me deeper into a state of deep perception.
By immersing myself in different materials, I investigate how form can reflect the complexities of the human experience. This journey is a conscious practice: looking closer at the textures of life and using them to navigate existential themes. I am fascinated by how a physical object can carry the weight of a question, allowing me to translate my observations of the world into tangible forms.
